Tree with reddish-gray bark. Leaves greenish-gray, with petiole and rachis 8-15 cm long, tomentose; petiole with ± distinct gland; pinnae 10-20 pairs, with rachis 2 cm long, median crest; leaflets 25-35 pairs, sessile, linear, rounded at the apex, 1.5-3 mm long and 0.5-0.7 mm wide, pubescent, with a distinct midrib and single vein.
Flower heads geminate or united in racemes; peduncle 1.2-2.5 cm long, tomentose. Flowers subsessile; calyx 2-2.5 mm long, puberulent; corolla 4-7 mm long, puberulous; stamens 1.2-1.7 cm long, with united filaments in a tube included. Pods oblong, flattened, with slightly wavy margins, 12.5-25 cm long and 1.8-3.5 cm wide, puberulous; stipe 1-2 cm long.
