Tigers!

This National Handloom Day- 7th August, 2021, we are celebrating the 6th birth anniversary of WeaverStory. So we pledge to plant 1000 trees in the span of an year, as a gesture of our gratitude towards mother earth and give back to the nature in the form of expanding green cover. As we pledge to reduce our carbon footprint by replacing it with new trees.

You can be a part of this initiative and choose to plant either one time or monthly. This can help us in fulfilling our vision of a secure future for not only the tigers in Bengal, but also the villagers, by creating livelihood opportunities through jobs in nursery and planting activities. Additionally, this will also benefit in ensuring food security, contain the effect of storm surges and tsunamis, provide flowers, fruit, fodder and fuel to rural communities and wildlife, fight climate change, and benefit other endemic wildlife species.
