“The Koala eats, sleeps and lives in eucalyptus trees!
Koala is native to Australia and was first documented in the late 18th century. The word “”koala”” is derived from an ancient Aboriginal word meaning “”no drink”” because it rarely ever drinks water as it gets 90% of its hydration from gum leaves.
The only time it leaves the tree is to walk to another tree with a better food supply. Eucalyptus is harmful to most animals but the koala’s digestive system creates bacteria that fights the harmful effects of the leaves consumed.
The Koala has a scent gland on its chest that it rubs against trees to mark its territory. It can sleep up to 20 hours a day and its average life span in the wild is between 10 and 14 years. ”

Delhi Is Gasping Again, And This Time, Even the Clouds Refused to Help
Delhi is choking again. AQI levels have slipped into the ‘severe’ zone, cloud seeding failed, and emergency measures barely make a dent. If Delhi wants cleaner winters, it needs more green cover, not just temporary interventions. Clouds may not cooperate, but trees always will.
