Euphorbia is a diverse genus of flowering plants. These plants have a poisonous, milky-white latex-like sap and unusual floral structures. The flowers are enclosed within long-lasting and bright bracts. The plant is loose in form, spiny and irregularly shaped, with thick, black thorns. Euphorbia will usually grow up to 5 or 6 feet tall; it typically grows up to 3 feet, or 2 feet when grown as a houseplant.
