Persian Lilac

Every flower has five narrow pink petals that surround a central purple-red tube. Its fruits are round yellow berries that mature into brown leathery seed capsules.

Its extracts have been used in medicine for its anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties. The leaves have been used as a natural insecticide to protect stored food. The fruits and leaves are harmful if consumed by humans.
