| Pear trees are long living for around 50 to 75 years. The fermented juice of the pear is a type of wine called ‘Perry’ . China is the largest producer of pears followed by USA and Italy. Pear contains various vitamins and minerals, it is given in anaemia, fevers, diarrhoea, dysentery, cough and cold. Its leaves are used as a medicine in treating sores and swellings. |
