| The Mussaenda can grow upto a height of 6 feet. In summer, it bears clusters of orange-yellow tubular flowers beside large, white bracts. The plant’s color comes from bracts and not the small, often yellow, white or orange, flowers at the center of each bract. Its used in traditional medicine to treat jaundice, cough, fever, wounds, ulcers, and its leaves crushed in water are used as a herbal shampoo. |
