| Marigold is cultivated throughout India and it flowers from July to September. Its bright yellow and orange flowers are used to make garlands and to decorate religious places. It is also used to treat ulcers, eye infections, inflammations and wounds. It may have anti-viral, anti-genotoxic and anti-inflammatory properties. |
