Hogweed

Gadahpurna or Hogweed is commonly known by Indians as “The Renewed Herb”. It has a long tradition in Ayurvedic medical practice and used to make a decoction for dissolving kidney stones.

Ayurvedic doctors also prescribe this for various purposes like treating snake-poisoning, rat-bite infections, asthma and jaundice. The white-flowered variety of this plant is said to be the most effective.
