| Garuga is a deciduous tree found in many parts of India. In traditional medicine, its leaves are crushed with honey and given to those suffering from asthma. The stem juice is dropped into the eyes to cure conjunctivitis. Its fruits are round and are the size of a gooseberry, they are green at first, and turn yellow to black in the end. The fruits are eaten raw or pickled. |
