| Eucalyptus is native to Australia and has been introduced to many countries for forestry plantings. It is now present in Africa, Asia, Europe, Indian Ocean, the Pacific Ocean, South America and United States. Its oil is used for cleaning and as an industrial solvent, as an antiseptic and is also used to treat skin irritations such as insect bites, blisters, irritations and other wounds. It is declared a noxious weed species in South Africa. |
