| Coral wood tree is very common, growing wild in the Western Ghats and parts of south India. It loves a moist and damp climate. Its seeds are green when they first ripen, soon turn to dark red and then brown. They are used as beads for making necklaces and earrings. The tree is also used for making soap and for treating wounds, boils, rheumatism, and arthritis. |
