| The Baseball plant is shaped like a ball and resembles a stone. It is endangered in the wild because of over-collection, poaching, and its slow growth. Another reason is the pod contains only 2 to 3 seeds. This plant is however widely cultivated in botanical gardens for ornamental and decorative purposes. |
