| Agave is commonly called Century plant and is native to parts of North, Central and South America. After fruit development, the original plant dies but suckers are frequently produced from the base of its stem which become new plants. It is a common misconception that Agaves are cacti. Agave leaf juice has been used as a topical treatment to relieve itching and sores. |
