The Bowthorpe Oak in Bourne in Lincolnshire, England is believed to be the oldest oak tree at an estimated 1,200 years old. It is also featured in the Guinness Book of Records and was filmed for a short TV documentary about its size the tree has a girth of 12.30 metres or 40 feet 4 inches and astounding longevity.
