Peachleaf willow

“Peachleaf willow can grow to over 60 feet in height.

It is a deciduous tree native to wet habitats in Canada and USA. The flowers are yellow catkins that bloom from April to June.

It can only spread by seeds as compared to other willows that can propagate from roots or snapped bits of twig. It is often found near streams and was used by American Indians. They used it as a medicine where the infusion of its bark was used to treat pain and inflammation and also in basketry for making cooking utensils and fish weirs.”
