Kona Cheesewood

“Kona Cheesewood’s cream-coloured flowers are fragrant at night.

Native to Hawaii, it can grow up to 9 meters or 30 feet. Its flower clusters contain 9 to 12 flowers that form either on the branches or from the base of the leaf stem.

Also called Hoawa, its fruits resemble walnuts that ripen during winter. Early Hawaiians used parts of it as a medicine.”
