Toborochi trees at Aspire Park, Qatar

In Bolivia, legends say a beautiful Goddess hid inside this tree to give birth so the forces of evil would not find her and her baby. She comes out only in the form of the tree’s beautiful pink flowers which attract her mate, the hummingbird God.

The Aspire park covers an area of 217 acres and is Doha’s biggest park. It has a small hill and the only lake in Qatar. It features a variety of trees that are both rare and common.
