| Morning Glory, originally from tropical America, is a shrub found naturally in India. They have slender stems, heart shaped leaves and flowers in the shape of a trumpet. Flowers can be of pink, purple-blue, magenta, or white colour. In Hindi, it is known as Besharam/Behaya because of its ability to spread widely. The seeds are highly toxic if ingested but some parts of the plant have medicinal properties. |
