Kalahari Christmas Tree

It can grow to a height of 23 feet and its fruit and seeds are edible.

It has been widely used in traditional medicine with the bark being used to treat headaches, toothaches, dysentery, the roots for leprosy, coughs and the leaves for epilepsy.

It flowers from September to February in Africa and June to August in India.
