| Japanese Zelkova is an ornamental tree native to Japan, Taiwan, Korea and parts of eastern Asia. It is a deciduous tree and can reach a height of around 100 feet. Its green leaves turn yellow, copper, orange, or deep red in autumn. It is tolerant of heat, drought, wind and hence planted as a street tree in urban environments. It is popular bonsai tree and a symbol in many Japanese cities and prefectures. |
