| Camellia can be found in many regions in Asia, Japan and Indonesia. It is popular in gardens for ornamental purposes and grown commercially for horticulture and oil production. The oil is used to clean and protect the blades of cutting instruments. In Japan, the oil is called ‘tsubaki-abura’ and has been traditionally used for hair care. In southern China, it is the most important cooking oil for millions of people. |
