| Atlas Cedar is an evergreen tree indigenous to the Atlas Mountains in Algeria and Morocco. The oil from the tree has been used as a medicine and is considered to be one of the earliest incense materials. It is planted at the White House in Washington, DC, USA. US President Jimmy Carter had a tree house built for his daughter Amy. It was designed by himself and is self-supporting so as not to cause damage to the tree. |
