topiary garden

This topiary garden in Costa Rica is known as the Parque Francisco Alvardo and has been produced and maintained by Evangelisto Blanco Brenes since the 1960’s.

These Cyprus shrubs in this garden have been trimmed into the shapes of animals and fantasy creatures. There is a dinosaur, an elephant and make-believe creatures, faces and fun arches, all trimmed into the hedges.
