| Winter Hazel is native to east Asia. It can grow upto 19 feet in height and produces flowers in late winter. Each flower has five pale yellow petals. The fruit is a dry capsule containing two glossy black seeds. It is grown for ornamental purposes in many gardens and primarily found in China; also in Japan, Korea and the Himalayas. |
