| Tree Saving Sculpture – This old horse chestnut tree was falling down and the town council had decided to fell it. But the people of Bideford in Devon, UK had different ideas and rose up in rebellion against their council. In the end, John Butler, a local sculptor came to its rescue and sculpted a helping hand to hold the tree up. Following this, the council held off with their plans to fell the tree. |
