| Spring Snowflake is native to central and southern Europe. Its flowers have a slight fragrance and are small and bell-shaped. They are white with a green spot at the end of each tepal. Studies have suggested that the bulbs contain alkaloids with high anti-retroviral properties against the HIV-1 virus. All parts are harmful to humans. |
