| Pasque flower is native to meadows and prairies of North America, Europe and Asia. It blooms in early spring which leads to the common name Pasque flower, as Pasque refers to Easter (Passover). It has gorgeous purplish blue flowers and does not grow well in regions with hot and humid summers. It is harmful to humans if used in excess. The flower can be applied directly to the skin to treat boils, bacterial skin infections and inflammatory diseases of the skin. Its extracts are used as an initial ingredient in homeopathic remedies. |
