| Judas tree is a small deciduous tree native to Southern Europe and Western Asia. It is famous for its prolific display of deep pink flowers in spring that are edible and the tree can grow to 12 metres in height. It gets its name from a long-standing myth that Judas Iscariot hanged himself from a tree of this species. |
