Trees will have to be planted in plots exceeding 200 sq. mts. and the owners of the land will get a rebate on urban development tax.

The provision says, Guilty of cutting or uprooting or removing bark of a tree in such a manner which may endanger survival of the tree, will be fined Rs. 10,000/- per tree.
