Redwoods State Park

“Redwoods State Park has around 200 miles or 320 kms of hiking trails!

California’s redwood forests in USA are famous for being home to the tallest living trees on the planet. It was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1980.

Many redwood trails are a pleasure to walk as they are well constructed. The trail is wide, smooth and easy to walk with a springy mud-resistant carpeting of needles and bridges to span even minor obstacles. The forest is cool in the summer and rarely below freezing in the winter. It can be visited throughout the year, although people prefer visiting during summer.

Camping, horseback riding and mountain biking are also popular but are allowed only on certain trails.”
