Bee Bee Tree

“Bee Bee Tree can grow to around 65 feet in height.

It gets its name as it is a magnet for honeybees and other pollinators. It attracts large numbers of bees and is sought after by beekeepers as a source of late summer honey.

During August, clusters of white flowers bloom and are followed by reddish seedpods adding more color to the landscape. This late flowering characteristic is beneficial to pollinating insects as it comes in late summer when few trees are in bloom.

It is a fast growing adding two or more feet a year and planted as a street tree and in gardens. ”
