Boojun tree

Boojun tree is endemic to Baja California Peninsula and can grow to a height of 20 meters.

It flowers during summer and autumn in California and is considered by many to be the strangest looking tree on earth for its odd shape.

The swollen trunk base is often hollow and it provides a habitat for honey bees.
