Koh Ker – The Forest Temple!

Koh Ker

It was once the ancient capital of Cambodia. The temple complex was built by King Jayavaraman IV (AD 928-942). It is 35 meters or around 115 feet high and was built to worship Treypuvanesvara, the god of happiness.

Around 96 temples have been found here and most of them have been covered with trees. Today, it is visited by tourists around the world.
