Pink Moss
“Beautiful fields of Pink Moss flowers at the Base of Mount Fuji!

The Fuji Shibazakura Festival in Japan is one of the most popular occasions to see the shibazakura or pink moss flowers. It is located south of Lake Motosuko in the Fuji Five Lakes area, offering breathtaking views of vast fields of shibazakura, with Mount Fuji in the backdrop on clear days.

Pink Moss or Shibazakura is a flower that grows close to the ground in brilliant colors of magenta, pink and white. The season for moss pink is from late April to May and about 800,000 Shibazakura plants of eight varieties bloom here.
