Tulsi

With the recent rise in Dengue cases, a common repellent against the Aedes aegypti mosquito would be to plant Tulsi at your home.

Tulsi was extremely effective in killing mosquito larvae and helped keep mosquitoes away according to the Parasitology Research Journal. Ayurveda recommends planting a Tulsi shrub near your window to keep mosquitoes away. The plant has properties that do not allow mosquitoes to breed and will prevent them from entering your home.
