Temple Tree

It is native to parts of North, Central and South America and widely planted all over the world as an ornamental tree.The flower has 5 petals and is very fragrant. They are used to make necklaces as offerings to deities in Cambodia.

The leaves are used in traditional medicine to heal sores.
