| May-tree can can live up to 250 years. It can grow to around 50 feet in height. The fruit is berry-like and is known as a ‘haw’. The flowers blossom in groups of 9 to 18 and are white with a pinkish tint. It is the only British tree to be named after the month in which it flowers. |
