Walnut

Walnut is an edible seed of the Juglan tree. It is a deciduous tree and can grow upto a height of 30 to 130 ft.

Walnut is heavily used in India and is offered as a prasad to Mother Goddess Vaisnav Devi.

In traditional Chinese medicine, walnuts are considered to be a herb and are said to tonify kidneys, strengthen the back and knees.
