Cornflower

Cornflower is a flowering plant and herb whose dried flowers are used to make medicine.

Cornflower tea is used to treat fever, constipation, water retention, and chest congestion. They are also taken as a tonic. The flower is applied directly to the eye for irritation or discomfort. Cornflower is used in herbal teas to provide color in food.

It was the favorite flower of John F. Kennedy, the 35th President of USA and was also used in the funeral wreath made for Pharaoh Tutankhamun.
