Tulsi

Tulsi or Holy Basil is an aromatic shrub that purifies the air within a wide radius of its vicinity just before sunrise.

Its leaves along with honey is made into a paste and used to cure coughs, colds and bronchitis, and to reduce fevers. The infusion of basil leaves and ginger is a most popular remedy for stomachaches. Its essential oil is antiseptic and an insect repellent while its roots are used to treat bites and stings, acting even as an antidote to snake and scorpion bites.
