The Maple tree

The Maple tree has around 128 different species of which many of them are native to Asia.
The leaves vary in size by species some reaching only an inch, while others can be as large as six or more inches. The young leaves of maple trees are bright crimson which will fade into the deep green of mature leaves.
It is planted for ornamental and other purposes.
